JC Carter
JC received his Bachelor’s of Music degree from the Berklee College of Music and his
Master’s Degree in Music Technology from Southern Utah University. He has 28 years
of experience in the music and audio content creation, advertising and marketing areas.
JC started his career in Pittsburgh creating music for radio and television commercials
for advertising. In 2004 JC started Wrecking Crew Media with a focus on music
composition and audio-post production. Working with clients like FedEx, MTV
Networks, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and national brands such as American Eagle,
Bayer and Sunny Delight. In 2006 Wrecking Crew expanded their capabilities to include
video production. Clients include UPMC, Royal Dutch Shell, the Pittsburgh Penguins,
MedExpress and advertising and marketing companies nationwide.
JC is an active trumpet, piano and guitar player and releases his own style of progressive
rock under the name “Chord for the Choir”.
