Peter Barbor

Instructor

Peter Barbor is an artist and educator who has lived and worked across North America. He received his BFA with Honors in Ceramics in 2010 from the Rhode Island School of Design. In 2017, he graduated from the University of Washington’s 3D4M program, earning the de Cillia Teaching with Excellence Award. Peter has exhibited both nationally and internationally.  He has taught at the Alberta University of the Arts in Calgary, Canada, as well as Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture. Peter has also had the privilege of attending residencies at the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, MT, The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA, and The Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, CO. Currently his studio practice is based out of Pittsburgh, PA where he teaches as Visual Arts Faculty at The Ellis School.
