Kat Charnley
Kat Charnley is an artist, educator, and student who is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in printmaking at Edinboro University. Her work uses symbolic, figurative, and narrative elements to address conflict in the human condition. While Kat is experienced in a wide range of printmaking mediums, recently she has been focusing her attention on lithography.
Kat has published artwork as a master printer for a number of artists hosted by Erie Arts and Culture’s residency program. She has done this both independently and affiliated with Egress Press and Research, Edinboro University’s fine arts publishing company. These limited editions are distributed by Long Road Project, a Jacksonville, Florida based publishing program. The prints will be featured in Art Basel 2021.
She also maintains an active professional career which includes national exhibitions and artist workshops. Kat remains engaged with her community and brings people together through making.
