Amy Foster is a professional egg tempera artist. During a study abroad program in Orvieto, Italy, she studied the ancient technique of egg tempera under the guidance of a traveling benedictine nun. Since then, Amy has continued to develop her skills as a painter through books, workshops, and lots of practice. Amy earned a BS in Illustration at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2015. She lives in her native Pittsburgh, enjoying walks in Mellon and Frick Parks and the close community of the city.
